MySQL and Enterprise Identity Management

The session will cover Identity Manager, Sun’s leading Identity Management solution and ways to integrate with MySQL as identity repository and reporting database. The team will also discuss Sun’s leading Single-Sign-On, Federation and Single-Sign-on product and how to incorporate applications using MySQL into an enterprise security framework. Additionally, we will cover federation for customer’s wanting to leverage identities into the cloud for services like Google Apps, SugarCRM or use MySQL as an identity repository. And, we will also cover how to use Directory and MySQL as your identity stores within your enterprise. Users will also gleen information on:

• Using OpenDS for MySQL Cluster, to provide an LDAP interface to MySQL Cluster. We will review how LDAP and MySQL Cluster data model are translated and how data can be access through multiple interfaces.

• Using Sun Directory Proxy Server and its Virtual Directory Proxy (a component of Sun Directory Server Enterprise Edition) capability to consolidate under a virtual Directory Information Tree, LDAP entries with attributes handled in real-time in multiple MySQL and Directory Server backends.
