Supporting Scale in the Cloud - a Customer Perspective
It is entirely possible to scale in the cloud. However, there are important considerations you need to address as you are building your application to avoid common pitfalls in the future. This session will cover the key success factors in building for scale in the cloud. We will use several real Joyent customer examples to demonstrate how best practices have been employed to do things like execute 45,274,892,601 queries on MySQL running on the cloud with zero down time and no reboots.
