Configuring MySQL in Open HA Cluster, an Easy Exercise
There is a mindset in the industry, that configuring shared disk clusters is a cumbersome task. We will demonstrate that configuring MySQL in Sun Cluster is far away from complex. We will highlight the necessary concepts, and then do a live demo. After demonstrating the easy setup of HA MySQL and some failover scenarios, we would like to discuss about high availability use cases for MySQL, topologies and HA experiences with the audience.
