Vince Carbone Performance Technology Group Sun Microsystems, Inc. Over 10 years as benchmark engineer working on commercial database workloads and benchmarks primarly using Oracle and DB2. In the last year I have shifted focus to MySQL. I am currently working on Sun’s MySQL Performance and Scalability project. My concentration is the characterization of MySQL scale-up primarily using the sysbench benchmark.
