Innodb is known to have scalability issues in Certain configurations. Some of those issues are solved in MySQL 5.0 and MySQL 5.1 versions.
In this presentations we will look at several workloads and investigate how different versions behave on different Operation Systems and Hardware.
We will look both at scaling in terms of CPUs as well as efficient use of multiple hard drives which can be bottleneck for disk bound systems.
